As we lead into warmer weather, it's hard not to feel that optimism here in the Great White North. Although there are some things going on in the background such as Justin Trudeau's foreign affairs minister - Melanie Joly - tightening her grip on censoring Canadian media. The CRTC - Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission - has begun the regulation by banning Russian-state owned televison channels. Funny enough, the CRTC nor the Liberals declared any intent to regulate or ban Chinese state-affliated meida from Canada, even with the motion that was passed in February of 2021 recognizing Chinas communist regime's genocide against the Uyghur ethinc minority

Aside from that, I want to bring our focus to Pierre Poilievere - Member of Parliament for Carleton region - and now our new candidate for Prime Minister of Canada. I began following a long closely with Pierre's social media and interviews when the Canadian Trcker Convoy began and to this day I am still in awe of how he presents himself and what he stands for when it comes to protecting the human rights of Candians. Like many politicians however, he comes with many promises of the future. As we see Liberals announced a plan to increase dirty overseas oil production, by shutting down Canada's responsible resource development - Pierre wants to ban oil from dicators within five years of being elected. As we know the bulk of that volume of oil is coming from Saudi Arabia, that which Canada imports 73, 6000 barrels of crude oil per day.

It's been noted by Statistics Canada that inflation alone has risen up 5.7% from February of this year. https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/daily-quotidien/220316/dq220316a-eng.htm . Which means there is a 3.2% gap between wages and the peak cost of inflation. We are headed down a very slippery slope. On top of, in just 3 days the carbon tax here in Canada supported by Mini Castro, Patrick Brown and Jean Charest is about to hike up once again. Soon enough gas, home heating and everything else is going to get more expensive. Pierre Poilievere, has made it clear that he wants to scrap this carbon tax, on top of ending money-printing deficits and completely removing gatekeepers to make affordable homes, energy and food

As I have mentioned in the past, I am always using my discernment when it comes to politics and especially when it comes to politicians that want seem to fit that picture perfect agenda of gaining back our freedoms. There’s just something about this man that I want to keep a close eye on going forward. If his intentions are pure, he’s got quite the battle a head of him!
